On my travels through Europe this summer, I had the pleasure of staying in Lauterbrunnen, Switzerland. This was the view just a few steps outside of where we stayed. The valley has picturesque mountains on all sides and 72 waterfalls. We went on a hike to neighboring Gimmelwald and the sights around each bend continued to impress.
While relaxing near Horseshoe Falls on the Canadian side of Niagara Falls, there were a few birds that were hanging out with the falls in the background. There were a number of rainbows, including one next to the Maid of the Mist.
It was a pleasure taking photos for Cleveland’s St. Patrick’s Day Parade this year. Here are few photos of the festivities which include bagpipes, Slider, and even an apperance by Spiderman.
Even though the leaves, moss and ferns in the woods on this path to one of the beaches in La Push, WA were such an amazing green, I enjoy looking at this picture in black and white. Do you have any photos that you prefer in black and white?
Lakewood Park is a great place to watch the sunset, especially since they added the solstice steps.
I was at Edgewater Park overlooking Lake Erie on a beautiful Sunday evening for some acro yoga when a storm cloud passed over the water along with this water spout. The look of dark clouds while the sun is still out has such an amazing look with the contrast of light.
Although most of my cameras prefer to be dry, these trees and the moss covering them enjoyed the rain this day in Olympic National Park.
